Ephesians 6:10-20 So after reading the above I started thinking about the relevance of this in my life. I started thinking about in the big picture unimportant circumstances. Example: The many time I realized I didn't have a pencil or only had a pen for a test with a scantron. Then you must rely on another person and hope they are not annoyed with you. But any way even more, like when you stay up all night working on homework and are ten minutes late for the class and the teacher wont take it any more. So all your hard work now without purpose all because "I/you" were untimely. I think of academic anxiety I have had and how some of the events could have been prevented. I know in this passage God is not talking about having you school supplies and notes and being eqquipped with school material, but I was thinking about how much stress the academia unpreparedness has impacted me and how much much much larger is the concern of being spiritually equipped. The importance of the entire armor of God is highlighted for me today. Realizing I need to take the time to make sure I am being intentional and keeping active in this. But in all things God is good, and true.

Proverbs 16:1-33 Highlights: Unfailing love and faithfulness cover sin; evil is avoided by fear of the Lord. We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps. It is better to be patient than powerful; it is better to have self control than conquer a city. Kind words are like honey- sweet to the soul and healthy for the body.

Proverbs 15:1-33 Highlights: A gentle answer turns away wrath, but harsh words stir up anger. Gentle words bring life and health; a deceitful tongue crushes the spirit.A bowl of soup with someone you love is better than a steak with someone you hate. If you listen to constructive criticism, you will be at home amoung the wise. Fear of the Lord teaches a person to be wise, humility precedes honor.
